The Woodpeckers belong to the “Caring and Sharing” trilogy. The Woodpecker figurine depicts a parent Woodpecker and a baby on a tree trunk, and the piece came with an octagonal SCS mirror.
There is a small discoloration in one spot on the bottom of the base. This in not a chip.

PLEASE NOTE:
Unfortunately, the vast majority of 1988 Woodpeckers and 1986/7 Lovebirds have an issue with the foam inside the boxes which is starting to deteriorate and go powdery. It is important to keep the original foam in place while still practicable as it keeps the piece authentic, and despite the deterioration, the original packaging still represents the most suitable and safest way to store the piece.
