  • 1960's Very Rare, higly detailed driving school instruction models made in Germany by HOHM company.
     
    This is not a Toy it is a Training model for Instruction exercises. 
    Was never offered in a shop it was sold only to driving schools!
     
    Its comes with the handmade wooden/acrylic cabinet, as shown on the second picture, 
    which keeps safely model from dust and external factors.
     
    Dimensions: 
    - Wooden base: 110cm x 40.5cm x 12cm
    - Car model: 101cm x 33cm x 25cm
    - Acrylic/Wooden cabinet: 115cm x 48cm x 45cm
     
    Weight: Approxy 30kg
     
    This model is fully cleaned, secured agains oxidation and rust, every piece checked and works as should be.
     
    The car is partly electric. 
     
    The Höhm Four - cylinder engine with electrical drive shows it all, pistons moving, rocker arms and valve operating / clutch operating etc. etc. When turn the crank by the electric motor (in the wooden base) you can see what happens inside an engine and even the little spark plugs light up at the right moment. Push the little clutch pedal and see how this part works. There is a small space between wheel and base. So the wheel is not fixed. By turning the crank you move the engine, the gearbox to the wheels. The gearbox has three Drive positions forward and one for backwards. All parts are working!!!
     
    All functions are controled from the wooden base front panel. 
    Electric functions are powered by electric engine (cable plug standard electric socket) and are as follow:
     
    - Ignition
    - Pistons with a flash light as simulation of sparkplug arcing 
    - Front lights: two positions short and long
    - Direction indicators: front and rear
    - Brake lights
    - Number plate lighting
     
    Mechanical functions are:
     
    - The gearbox, drive shaft and rear axle move to make the wheels spin
    - Manual gear box
    - Clutch
    - Brakes (front and rear)
    - Stearing wheel
     
    Condition: The car is in excelent condition for its age. One of the best on the market. 
    Its fully original, with all genuine parts. Wooden stand is in very good condition with additional bottom section.
